Redesign of one of my favorite books, Thus Spake Bellavista: Naples, Love, and Freedom, written by the brilliant Luciano De Crescenzo.

This book is a charming collection of dialogues and stories, each one rooted in the everyday life of Naples. De Crescenzo has a unique talent for transforming these simple tales into a philosophical fable filled with wisdom and humor. For the cover illustration, I wanted to capture the vibrant spirit of the city. I depicted Naples in all its colorful beauty, highlighting the energy and character that make it so unique. Overseeing it all is Mount Vesuvius, the city’s iconic guardian, adding a sense of both power and tranquility to the scene.
