This illustration was created for Neue Narrative magazine to accompany an article on emotional dysregulation in the workplace. The text explores how difficult it can be to regulate emotions appropriately and what happens when reactions become more intense or prolonged than the situation requires.

For the visual concept I took inspiration from Bill Lumbergh, the iconic office manager in the film Office Space. His character captures the absurdities of corporate office life in a way that perfectly matched the tone of the article.

The final spread was published in the current issue of Neue Narrative.
